Collaborative Work

So last night, I added the guy from Kohls (John) to my flist via YIM. I showed him the new links to my paintings at Carbonmade. He said he liked most of my paintings. We then talked about collaborating a painting. His idea was a Romeo and Juliet, Sun and Moon feel to the painting. I asked what theme he had in mind and he mentioned African and Native American art. He also tells me about Capoeira and that he wanted that kind of a feel to it too. Unfortunately, I haven't a clue on any of that kind of art (I've only been after the Modernist artworks so far) or Capoiera even (except that I had a feeling it's either dance or martial arts - I was right). So I promised him I was going to get some books from the library and research the subjects.
