New Medium

Ok so if you're thinking Medium as in the TV show with Patricia Arquette, you just lost cool points!!!

Anyways, I started on a painting inspired by a photograph of my friend. I had planned it to just be a plain acrylic painting (which I was going to give to my nephew for his new room) but I decided against it. I used the Heavy Gloss Gel Medium for the first time. Wow, this is like AWESOME! It left stiff peaks on my painting and you can actually see some of the brushstrokes. I wish it left a glossier sheen to it, but that's my fault I guess. Maybe I should've used a better quality acrylics. I'll post the painting when it's done.
